Why Stay In A London Hotel When You Can Rent An Apartment?

Visiting London for the first time is always an exciting experience, whether you are here on holiday or on business. Of course, if you are here on business you may not have time to see all the sights that you would like to, yet it is to be hoped that you can spend a few hours seeing some of the more important ones such as Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. It is at least another memory to take back home with you, and who knows? You may come back to see the rest of the city on holiday.

One thing is certain when you visit London, and that is that you need somewhere to stay. Of course, there are lots of hotels in Central London and many people do book into them, but there are alternatives which many folks have never considered, perhaps because they didn’t know that they existed. It is a fact that you can rent apartments in Central London – even in the heart of Mayfair – and these are often preferable to a hotel bedroom.

You can rent one-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom apartments in Central London, three-bedroom apartments, and a few that are even larger than that – all in Central London! Yes, all exactly where you want to be, whether you are coming on business or for pleasure.

Why should you rent an apartment rather than stay in a hotel? Well, let’s look at it this way: if you are only coming for a couple of days a hotel is as good a bet as anything. You check in, everything is done for you, and you check out a couple of days later. You don’t have to go shopping for food and cook it yourself – you can eat in the hotel restaurant. If you want a drink, the hotel has a bar albeit expensive, but after all it’s only for a couple of days.

However, if you are staying for any longer and bringing your family with you, the costs of hotel rooms are going to mount up enormously, as is the cost of eating in the restaurant. A two-bedroom apartment will save you a considerable amount over a two week stay.

But better still, you keep your family unit together rather than being in different rooms (possibly on different floors) and having to mix in with the crowd of maybe several hundred other visitors all staying in the same hotel. Renting an apartment in Central London gives you privacy which you cannot get in a hotel.

Many of these apartments are fully serviced so you don’t have to make the beds or do any cleaning, and you can come and go as you please and cook and eat what you want. A serviced apartment is your own “home away from home” for the length of your stay.
